“Not every workshop has the glorious action shots of our fitness events. Sometimes the plays being made are from within the walls of the VA. We meet with various groups within the hospital. No photography is allowed and its rare these Veterans get visitors. Gary and I spent the day going to several units sharing stories of inspiration, educating the Veterans on the availability of our programming and just hanging out for a bit. I consider these the most important workshops in our organization. If someone does not have hope, they do not have anything. Everyone deserves a chance in life, and a chance to be happy. ”
