“We launched this hospital for the first time on an incredible field donated to us by Albany Pharmacy Athletics. What happened on this turf will remain with me in the historical progress of our organization. We played football and wiffle ball with Vets of all ages and abilities, no one was left out. We had 4 Vets over 90 playing ball with us and exercising. We ran out butts off with warriors in motorized chairs gaining first downs. Its emotional even writing this, not out of sympathy for these men and women, but out of the inspiration they give you admiring their fighting spirits. ”
